# Getting Started

Flexie is one platform for running your business. Instead of separate apps for your customers, your sales, your invoices, and your messages, Flexie keeps it all in one connected place, with an AI workforce ready to do the busywork for you.

This guide takes you from "just signed up" to "up and running."

## Step 1: Set up your account

When you first sign in, take a few minutes to set up the basics:

* **Your business details:** name, logo, address, and currency. These appear on your quotes and invoices, so it is worth getting them right early.
* **Your branding:** add your logo so the documents you send look professional.
* **Your preferences:** date format, time zone, and language.

## Step 2: Invite your team

Flexie is built for teams. Invite the people you work with so everyone shares the same customers, deals, and inbox.

For each person you can set a **role**, which controls what they are allowed to see and do. A salesperson, a support agent, and a manager each get the access that fits their job. You can change this anytime.

## Step 3: Bring in your customers

Get your existing customers into Flexie so you can start working right away. You can add contacts and companies one at a time, or bring in a list of existing customers in bulk.

## Step 4: Connect your communication

To send and receive messages inside Flexie, connect your channels:

* **Email:** connect your email account so messages send and arrive in Flexie.
* **SMS and WhatsApp:** set up text and WhatsApp messaging.

Once connected, every conversation lands in your shared inbox.

## Step 6: Meet Flexie AI

Flexie's AI is more than a chat box. From day one you can ask it in plain words to find records, build a workflow, run a report, or update data, and it carries out the work for you. It is the fastest way to get comfortable.
